DDRS 7.09 is the electronic tool for servicing Detroit Diesel’s DDEC VI equipped engines including Series60, MBE 4000, MBE 900 and HDE. DDRS also contains the same diagnostic capabilities of the DDDL 7.09 software, the ability to flash DDEC VI modules (CPC and MCM), and upload data to the Detroit Diesel programming server. Note: It is not backward compatible with earlier versions of Detroit Diesel electronic systems. The diagnostics for those systems will continue to be serviced with DDDL 6. The programming functions will use DRS 6. The DDEC VI electronics system contains two controllers, the MCM (Motor Control Module) and the CPC (Common Powertrain Controller).
DDRS 7.09 allows the user to perform the following standard diagnostic operations with the DDEC VI system:
Perform Standard Fault Code Operations
Links to Traditional and Advanced Troubleshooting Information
Read Actual Values
Configure and Manage Parameters
Perform Service Routines
Playback Logs of All Connected Activity
